The Nine Elms is a friendly traditional local pub situated on the edge of West Swindon just a five minute walk from the shops in Ramleaze Drive. We try our best to provide a comfortable environment where you can enjoy a conversation with friends or simply unwind after the pressure of a busy day. The pub is a focal point for the local community and there are a wide range of groups and clubs that regularly meet here. A pool table and darts board are provided for your enjoyment in our bar area.

Live sports

The Nine Elms shows all major sporting events live on 2 large plasma screens in the bar area. This includes premiership, championship and international football as well as international rugby. If there is a live sporting event on that you would particularly like to see please ask and we will try to accommodate you.

Location

We are situated on Old Shaw Lane which, in years gone by, was the main road between Swindon and Purton. When West Swindon was developed, Old Shaw Lane was split into two parts by the creation of the new road, Roughmoor Way. Gates were installed to prevent our section of the old road being used as a 'rat run' for commuters. Many people have difficulty locating us because we are in the cut off part of Old Shaw Lane.
