No regular events. Last year we
staged Open Mic sessions on Wednesday nights during the summer which
proved very popular with local students. The PA system was provided so
you could just come along and sing a song or bring your own instrument
to play. The sessions were designed to give people the chance to try
out new material or simply play in public for the first time. If you
would like to see the return of these sessions please let us know and
we'll work with you to arrange something.

Quiz Night -
our popular and enjoyable quiz on a Thursday night with questions
covering a range of topics. The quiz masters usually include a picture
round and a music round too for a bit of variety. Play on your own or
as a team.

this is generally our busiest night of the week so what better time to
pop along and meet the regulars.

Poker law...
The 2005 Gambling Act allows a limited amount of
low stakes, social poker to be played in pubs. The stakes limit is
£5 per player per game with an overall aggregate stakes limit of
£100 per premises per day. This means, for example, that a
£5 stakes game can have a maximum of 20 players.
At The Nine Elms all poker games must be approved
by the manager in advance to ensure that we comply with the relevant
laws at all times.
